The Prosperity Bowl — A Return to Tribe

At Mandala Living Cuisine, one of our deepest intentions is to help nourish humanity in the way we were always meant to — as a tribe.
In a true tribe, no one goes hungry. Resources are shared. Prosperity is shared.

We are living through an intense and transformative time. The systems we’ve long relied upon are faltering, reminding us that real security and abundance come from each other. The truth is, there is more than enough wealth and nourishment in this world — yet many still go without. This imbalance reflects how far we’ve drifted from our natural way of living: connected, compassionate, and communal.

The Prosperity Bowl is — our mindful act of service — to help bring us back to those roots. It is a free bowl of high-quality, organic, plant-based nourishment, available to anyone in need — any day of the week. If you are hungry, you’ll know there is a place you can come for care, dignity, and nourishment.

We call it the Prosperity Bowl because it’s in our true nature that prosperity is shared.

We are taking a heartfelt step toward bridging the gap between those who have more than enough and those who are simply in need of a meal. Our Prosperity Fund is built through the generosity of individuals, local businesses, and corporate partners who feel called to give back. Together, we are creating a living model of balance — a movement that shows what happens when prosperity circulates freely through the tribe.

It begins simply: by making sure everyone in our community is fed. From here, the ripple continues — to Kauaʻi, the islands, and beyond.

The Prosperity Movement

We first launched the Prosperity Movement eight years ago. In just eight months of operation, we proudly served over a thousand Prosperity Bowls and smoothies to our community before tragedy struck and our kitchen burned down.

After nearly two years of rebuilding and serving our community, we feel the time has come to reignite this mission into the fabric of our Kauai Community. In light of the current government shutdown and the growing economic challenges many families face, the Prosperity Movement is needed now more than ever.

We are relaunching this initiative by offering free Prosperity Bowls to TSA and government workers who are currently unpaid, as well as families affected by the SNAP/EBT benefit disruptions.

This program is rooted in the generosity of our community — fueled by donations from local residents, farmers, and small businesses who share our heart for service. Our goal is to expand this network of giving to include corporate entities that benefit from our island’s economy, inviting them to give back to the very people who support them.

As beautiful as it is to see local businesses uniting for this cause, we are now calling upon larger organizations — both here on island and across the nation — to join us in restoring balance, compassion, and shared prosperity. In a true tribal community, prosperity is shared, not stored. It is in moments like these that we come together to uplift one another.

The Roots of Prosperity

On a local level, we are asking to grow our network of farmers and suppliers to become branches of this tree of prosperity. We are calling in many to join as sponsors, committing weekly or monthly donations of fresh ingredients for us to prepare and serve the Prosperity Bowl six days a week to those in need.

We have created the Prosperity Seal — an ethical symbol of this movement. Every sponsor and donor will receive this seal to display proudly, representing that they are actively part of the solution, not the problem. Though these may seem like baby steps toward addressing such an overwhelming issue, baby steps are still progress — and when they’re taken in the right direction, the sky’s the limit.

This is a true community collaboration, and we hold the vision that it will continue to grow as Mandala Living Foods expands to multiple locations across Kauaʻi — each serving the Prosperity Bowl and smoothies. Our journey begins on the sacred land once known as Kealia Farms, now being restored with a vision for renewal at the Anahola Marketplace.

While we have no budget, we do have the freedom to create — to build a community space by the people, for the people.

The Vision Ahead

Our vision reaches beyond Kauaʻi — to all the Hawaiian Islands and eventually across the U.S. We believe the Prosperity Bowl can become a national social movement.

For now, we focus on the community we can reach immediately — right here on Kauaʻi. We are located at the Anahola Marketplace, where you can come to donate or receive a Prosperity Bowl or smoothie beginning November 1st, 2025.

Donations can be made online through the link below or in person at the marketplace. We will have forms available upon request for those who wish to receive a tax write-off for their contribution.
